1. What this site is

Tread & Tone is an independent publisher of information about low-impact fitness equipment, published by Type 5 Marketing LLC. It is editorial content, offered for general information only.

2. Not medical, therapy or fitness advice

Nothing on this site is medical advice, physical therapy advice, or personal training instruction. Nobody producing it holds a medical, therapy or fitness qualification, and no page here has been reviewed by a clinician.

Exercise carries risk, and more so with an existing condition, after surgery, after a fall, or following a change in medication. Talk to your doctor or physical therapist before starting anything new. If something hurts, stop. Do not use this site in place of professional advice, and do not delay seeking it because of something you read here.

3. We are not the seller

We do not sell, stock, ship or service any product mentioned on this site. When you follow a link you leave and buy from a third-party retailer under that retailer’s own terms. All questions of payment, delivery, damage, returns, refunds, warranty and product safety are between you and them.

4. Specifications, prices and accuracy

Every specification here is taken from the manufacturer’s published documentation or a dated retailer listing, and each figure names its source and the date it was read. Where a measurement is not published, we say so rather than estimating.

Even so: manufacturers revise models without renaming them, listings contain errors, and sometimes a maker’s own page and its retailer listing disagree — where we know of a conflict, we print both. Verify any measurement that a purchase depends on against the manufacturer’s current documentation before you buy. If a machine has to fit through a doorway or hold a specific weight, check it yourself.

Prices are pulled live from the retailer and stamped with the date read, and they expire automatically. The price shown by the retailer at checkout is the only one that counts.

If you find an error, tell us — we fix corrections within seven days.

5. Affiliate relationships

We earn commission when you buy through our links, at no extra cost to you, as described in full in our affiliate disclosure. It does not change what we recommend.

6. No warranty

This site is provided “as is”. We make no warranty that the content is complete, current or error-free, or that any product will suit your particular circumstances. To the fullest extent the law allows, Type 5 Marketing LLC is not liable for any loss, injury or damage arising from use of this site or of any product mentioned on it. Nothing here limits any liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

7. Using our content

The writing, layout and original photography on this site belong to Type 5 Marketing LLC. You are welcome to quote a short passage with a visible credit and a link back. Please do not republish whole pages or scrape the specification tables wholesale.

Product photographs are the property of their respective manufacturers or retailers and are served from the retailer’s own image servers under the affiliate program’s terms. Brand and product names are the trademarks of their owners, used here for identification only; no endorsement is implied in either direction.

8. Third-party links

We link to retailers, manufacturers and public-health authorities. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content, their accuracy or their privacy practices.

9. Changes

We may update these terms. The date at the top of the page shows when they last changed, and continuing to use the site after a change means accepting the current version.
